What is Pranic Healing

A path of service — holistic healing and wellness made available to everyone, through the practice of energy.

Every living being is sustained by more than the physical body. An invisible energy — called prana in Sanskrit, chi in Chinese, ki in Japanese — flows through and around us, keeping us alive, and shaping our health long before illness ever shows in the body itself.

Pranic Healing works with this energy directly. It is a no-touch, no-drug system that cleanses and re-energizes a person’s energy field, allowing the body’s own intelligence to restore balance — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The body has two layers: the physical body we can see, and the energy body — the aura — that surrounds and interpenetrates it. Long before a physical symptom appears, an imbalance can already be present in the energy body. A Pranic Healer works on this energy layer — scanning to locate where energy is depleted or congested, cleansing to release what is stagnant, and energizing to restore the area with fresh prana. No physical contact is required, and no medication is involved. Pranic Healing works alongside conventional medicine, never in place of it.

It is used to support recovery across a wide range of conditions — from everyday stress, fatigue, and emotional strain, to more chronic physical concerns — always as a complement to proper medical care. It is equally used for what has no physical symptom at all: inner steadiness, clarity of mind, and the quiet resilience that comes from an energy field that is clean and full.

Super Brain Yoga — Energy in Motion

Within this same system sits a practice remarkable for how much it offers in how little time: Super Brain Yoga.

It takes less than five minutes. The steps are simple — a specific hand position at the ears, synchronized breath, and a slow squat, repeated a set number of times. What looks simple on the outside is, underneath, a precise technique for moving energy.

The lower energy centers of the body hold a great deal of dormant energy. Super Brain Yoga draws this energy upward — through the body’s major energy centers — until it reaches the crown, where it nourishes the brain directly. Along the way, it passes through the heart center, bringing a felt sense of calm, and through the throat and forehead centers, sharpening focus and clarity.

Practiced consistently, it is understood to support:

  • Sharper focus and memory
  • Greater emotional steadiness
  • Calmer, more settled energy — especially valuable for children and students
  • A quiet foundation for meditation and inner growth

It asks for almost nothing — no equipment, no cost, no special conditions — only a few consistent minutes a day. In that simplicity lies its strength.

About Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui

Grandmaster Choa Kok Sui is the founder of Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. Trained as a chemical engineer, he spent over two decades researching and synthesizing esoteric and healing traditions from Chinese, Indian, and Tibetan lineages into a system that could be learned and practiced by anyone, without years of preparation.

In 1987, he established the Institute for Inner Studies, and in 1990, the World Pranic Healing Foundation — bringing this system to practitioners across the world. His teachings continue to be studied and practiced today, forming the foundation this center stands on.

Pranic Healing and Super Brain Yoga are not separate techniques but part of one coherent system he gave the world — a practical, teachable approach to the energy that already sustains every one of us. It does not ask for belief. It asks only for practice.
